ITS A BOY!!!!!!!

Well, we just found out that are little "bun in the oven" is a BOY!!!!! We are so excited to have another son. We took Addison to the doctors appointment with us and she was thrilled to hear that she is the "only" girl and that she gets to be the "Big sister" again. Not as thrilled as her daddy though. Jeff jumped up and threw his arms in the air and said "Yes, thank you Lord" I didn't have a preference, but I honestly thought that it was a girl. Jeff and I actually had a bet going on. He swore that it was a boy, and I was 100% sure that it was a girl. So we said that the winner of the bet had to buy the other one dinner at whatever restaurant the other one wanted to go to.. So needless to say we are going to Red Lobster for dinner tomorrow!!! We are still thinking of baby names. I like Elijah and Jeff likes Uriah, if you have any good baby names then pass them along to me.

Making Jesus cry!!!!

Today the kids and I had to run into the store to get a few small things....rice milk, sugar free Popsicles, Italian bread, bottled water. You know just the basic things. I usually just take one child at a time. It just makes the trip a little easier for me. Well, I decided that I would brave it up and take both...no biggie. They were actually SUPER well behaved!!!!! They cracked me up the whole time. Its like they have there own little language. We were almost done getting the few items that we needed and as we turned to corner to go down the produce isle and an older gentleman said a few swear words to his younger child. I of course cleared my throat, as I walked by him super fast, trying to let him know that EVERYONE including my two children heard him. We went ahead and proceeded to checkout. Then guess who ended up behind us in line???? MR CUSSER!!! Then all of the sudden Jakob said "Hey You!!!" He looked at that guy and said "You know when you say those cuss words you make Jesus cry really hard" I about died!!! I couldn't believe that he just said that. Then again I raised my head up high and thought GOOD JOB SON!!! I am so thankful that my kids are willing to stand up for what we believe in, and what I have taught them. Sometimes I feel like are my kids really listening and taking in the info i'm giving them. Today was a sure sign that they are listening.
Train a child in the way he should
go, and when he is old he will not
turn from it.

Garbage Pail Baby

I am almost 17 weeks pregnant now, and it is getting more and more exciting by the day. I am finally getting over that SUPER tired stage of this pregnancy, but my husband decided that he would do something really nice for me, and let me sleep in this particular Saturday morning. I was thrilled!!!! But within a few moments Addi and Jake noticed that I wasn't up with them. So in the bedroom they came....jumping on the bed, kissing my fore head, tickling my feet, trying to wake me up. I woke up, but I just wanted to lay there and hold my 2 little angels. So we started talking about the gender of the baby. Addi of course said that she would LOVE to have a sister, so that she could have someone to play barbies, and loving family with, but that she would also LOVE to have another brother. Then came Jakobs answer...... He said that he would like to have a baby brother. I asked why do you want a brother??? He said "Because I want to put him on top of my bunk beds (which we don't even have) and let him play with all of my trucks, cars, and trains." I complimented him, because he doesn't normally want to share his trucks, cars, and trains. But then came the next BIG question. I asked Jakob "what if mommy has a baby girl?" He sat up in the bed and looked at me and said "If we have a girl baby, then I am going to take her off of my bunk bed, and carry her into the kitchen and throw her right into the garbage." I didn't know what to say. I tried to hold back laughter, and give him the talk. I tried to explain that God made this little baby, and that we will love it no matter if its a girl or a boy. He wasn't trying to hear that. So needless to say that in the next 23 weeks we will be working on Jakob........
